Product Roadmap

ListSecurely is built incrementally. Each phase adds capabilities that help Etsy sellers prevent listing removals, fix compliance issues faster, and protect their shop long-term. Below is our development plan — what we have shipped, what we are building now, and what is coming next.

How we prioritize features

Compliance impact first

We prioritize features that directly reduce listing removal risk. Cosmetic improvements come after functional safety.

User feedback driven

Feature requests from active users carry the most weight. If multiple sellers ask for the same capability, it moves up the queue.

Incremental delivery

We ship in small batches so sellers get value sooner. Large features are broken into phases that we release as they are ready.

Phase 1: Core Compliance Engine

Shipped

The foundation of ListSecurely — a deterministic, rule-based scanner that checks Etsy listing titles, descriptions, and tags for compliance risks before publication.

Trademark keyword detection against a curated list of 500+ brand terms sourced from USPTO and WIPO databases
Prohibited items scanner that flags restricted product language across weapons, drugs, tobacco, and regulated categories
Medical and wellness claim detection for terms that imply treatment, cure, or prevention
SEO optimization analysis including tag count, title length, and description depth scoring
Real-time compliance scoring on a 0–100 scale with severity-ranked violation cards
CSV report download for every scan result

Phase 2: AI-Powered Assistance

Shipped

AI features layered on top of the rule engine to help sellers fix flagged listings faster and draft professional appeal letters when listings are removed.

AI title rewrite suggestions that replace risky terms with SEO-safe descriptive alternatives
Automated appeal letter drafting that packages detected violations into a professional, apologetic letter to Etsy Trust & Safety
Contextual AI explanations of why specific terms are flagged and what they should be replaced with
Safe keyword suggestion engine that offers generic alternatives for each detected brand or restricted term
Rate-limited AI calls per user to manage cost while keeping the tool accessible on paid plans

Phase 3: Monitoring & Alerts

In Progress

Ongoing listing surveillance so sellers are notified when existing published listings develop new compliance issues due to policy changes or updated rule databases.

Daily automated re-scans of monitored listings using the latest rule database
Email notifications when a monitored listing develops a new violation or its score drops below a threshold
Compliance trend tracking over time — see whether your shop is improving or accumulating more risk
Change detection to flag when a listing title or description has been edited outside of ListSecurely

Phase 4: Team Collaboration

Planned

Features designed for sellers who manage multiple shops or work with assistants and VAs who need shared access to compliance reports.

Multi-shop management from a single dashboard with per-shop compliance scores
Team member invitations with role-based access (viewer, editor, admin)
Shared compliance reports and scan history across team members
Activity log to track who scanned, edited, or approved specific listings

Phase 5: Enterprise & API

Planned

Advanced capabilities for agencies, power sellers, and developers who want to integrate compliance checks into their own tools and workflows.

REST API for programmatic listing scanning — submit title, description, and tags and receive a structured compliance report
Custom rule configuration to add your own restricted terms or brand exclusions
White-label reporting for agencies that want to deliver compliance audits under their own branding
Priority support with dedicated response SLA for enterprise accounts
